Free Downloadable Summer Prints

The other day it suddenly hit me. It finally felt like Summer with a capital S. It was nothing in particular, just a mix of things adding up and a nostalgic feeling that I always associate with the season. Isn’t summer the only season we don’t want to end? Even though the hot weather can wear us down, it’s always hard to say goodbye to the holidays, summer nights, dips in the sea, gelato for lunch, books read under the beach umbrella.. Summer can be so sweet that I can’t help but miss it already, even while I’m living it. Do you get what I mean?

Anyway, I felt like I needed a print in the house to give off this summer feeling so.. I made one (or two)! I wanted it to be summer-y but without any pineapples/ flamingos/ toes in the sand etc so I had a look around on Unsplash and I found this picture by Diana Feil (click HERE to see and download the original, which is in colour and in super hi-res. All of Unsplash’s pictures are free to use for whatever you fancy. Crediting the photographer is not required but is appreciated).

I changed the picture in black and white and started scribbling away. I always like a handwritten touch, and I like that the prints are quite minimal, I imagined they could go in a very nordic home ;) I’d put the prints in black frames, if only I had some.

Then I took a few pictures in the garden under a very hot sun, which was worth all the sweating and nearly-heatstroke because I am all for harsh shadows lately. And soft shadows of trees and leaves. Ok, shadows in general.

That’s allll, I hope you enjoy and a Happy sweet sweet Summer to you!
Xo Ines

L’altro giorno all’improvviso ho pensato “Ehi, ma E’ ESTATE!”

Hope you enjoy! Buona buonissima estate a tutti voi, Xo Ines

7 Free Printables To GET.STUFF.DONE!

Hey everyone! How’s the New Year going? I hope yours is rocking so far!

Are you sticking to those Resolutions? Keeping up with birthdays, anniversaries and dentist’s appointments? Ticking off daily To Dos?

I know that if I don’t write all this stuff down I am sure to 1. forget it 2. suddenly remember days later 3. sheepishly send belated birthday greetings or reschedule appointments.

SO! This should be another Resolution, to be more organized in 2016, write stuff down and actually LOOK back at that calendar, To Do List, ecc. If you’re on the same boat, today is as good as any other day to start getting.stuff.done! You may find some of the printables below very helpful (it doesn’t hurt that they’re impeccably designed too).

First up, a New Year’s Resolutions cheat sheet by A Fabulous Fete for Oh So Beautiful Paper. Short and sweet, fill it in and put in a small frame on your desk, tape it to the wall or on the inside cover of your journal.

Creativity is quite messy indeed – the good kind! Still, sometimes it can be too much. That’s why Jake and Jamie of A Pair Of Pears have designed this weekly list to jot down your house cleaning routine. Or, if you are a messy maker to the core, it’s also great for planning your crafts and projects (get supplies, photoshoot, etc).

These three beautiful printables are by Nat of Papel & Co, a super cute design and calligraphy studio. She also has a lovely Instagram, if you’re into pink and pretty hand lettering!

You guys, this has seriously changed my life. Up until now, I had never realized you can basically make anything into a sticker simply by printing it on self adhesive paper. Such a Duh! moment. That’s exactly how these stickers work. Stephanie of Make and Tell designed the hand lettered ones above for Craftsposure and here you can download a more colorful set (succulents! donuts! pencils! flamingos!).

Love the font on this Things To Do List by Maria Harmuth! I think it would be perfect in A5 size or even smaller.

Last but not least, I’ve found 2 calendars for you. The first one is by graphic designer, hand letterer, art director and overall awesome creative Cocorrina, the second one is a favourite of mine for its clean and sleek design. I present you the Get Shit Done Calendar by Love Aesthetics which you can download in two versions, my favourite here and the second one here.7 Free Printables To GET.STUFF.DONE! | inesness7 Free Printables To GET.STUFF.DONE! | inesnessMore and more cool printables keep popping up every day all around the web, and since I cannot post every single one of them here (although I’d love to), I invite you to have a look at my Freebies Pinterest Board, you’ll find even more calendars and other printables of all kinds (desktop and phone wallpapers, greeting cards, posters, wrapping paper..).

All printables created by their respective authors, while starry, grid and squiggly backgrounds are by yours truly.

Sfondi per tutti!! E calendari! E inspirational quotes!

Ma ehi, “Done Is Better Than Perfect”, è il mio nuovo motto. Vuol dire “non rincorrere la perfezione a tutti i costi, fai quello che devi fare e.. buttati! Se anche non sarà il tuo miglior lavoro, con l’esperienza – anche sbagliando – si impara!” Buon novembre a tutti (praticamente è già Natale, no?) Xo Ines

Here’s a little November treat for you all. It’s a bundle of many things I love and have always wanted to try my hand at making: calendars, printables, brush calligraphy, desktop and phone wallpapers, pastels + my favourite pale pink colour (you will see it pop up A LOT in my works), paper collage, etc.

It all started from the downloadable calendar (here the current month, but I’m thinking of making a whole calendar for 2016), which was inspired by DesignLoveFest moodboard calendar: each month has blank space at the top of the page for you to customise.

Write down To Do’s and birthdays, important tasks or goals; stick a picture up with washi tape; use it to doodle while you’re on the phone; create a mini moodboard tearing pictures from magazines or printing them from the Internet; leave it as it is for a minimal, no-fuss calendar.. It’s totally up to you!

NOVEMBER FREEBIES | InesnessYou could also get crafty and create a collage, which is what I did. It’s kind of a Lotta Jansdotter meets Matisse meets Marimekko (it definitely has a Scandinavian influence) meets this picture meets Ines Provana (that’s me). I wanted to keep with the autumn theme, hence the leaves. I tore solid backgrounds from old fashion magazines, starting with the pale pink shapes (duh!), then I used the teal and a darker shade too – we are going towards winter after all. Throw in a little black, which is my go-to pairing with pink, instantly making it less girly, and ta-da!

inesness free desktop and phone wallpaperI scanned everything and liked the pattern so much I decided to turn it into free downloadable wallpapers (links at the end of the post). Please bear with my non-existent Photoshop skills, which result in the wallpapers being the actual scans, no post-editing (I might do it later.. I wouldn’t mind turning this into a fabric or gift-wrapping pattern). This means you can easily see the print lines and rough cut edges of the paper shapes but hey, “Done Is Better Than Perfect” – this is my new motto. Which I turned into another desktop wallpaper and printable – I’m on a roll this week!Done Is Better Than Perfect DESKTOP WALLPAPER and PRINTABLE | InesnessSo, without further ado, here are all the links to your free goodies, hope you like them and will use them to brighten up your desks, walls, phone and desktop screens – that would make me so so happy!

Lots of love and Happy November (c’mon, it’s basically Christmas),
